The creation of insertion systems is based off of more than 70 combined years of experience and client feedback on Component Locator Cut and Clinch Systems. With that feedback, we have designed the ARL-C1® - which brings a modern solution to an age old problem.
What is an ARL (Annular Ring Locator®)?
The Annular Ring Locator® is a new segment of equipment created by Insertion Systems®. Annular Ring's are the drilled, finished and copper plated holes on a Printed Circuit Board. They provide an area for connecting component leads or wires, serving as an anchor for components on the circuit board. These annular rings are what make through-hole printed Circuit board manufacturing possible! Our Annular Ring locator® aids its users in determining which exact annular rings the components leads are placed into along with their correct polarity. Our system accomplishes this with a combination of high definition cameras and laser markers an high definition screens, ensuring absolute accuracy of placement every time.
What does C stand for?
Our team hasn't forgotten where we came from! The C in our model designation stands for CutNClinch®. This means that our users are able to program the specific trim length and bend angle of the components leads below the board. Because our system simultaneously cuts and clinches the lead, its users can be confident in obtaining their desired clinch angle and lead length no matter what.
